Global Reporting won a publishing prize!

2012-12-05

The Nordic Africa Institute and Global Reporting have been awarded the Swedish Publishing Award in the category of annual reports. The prize was awarded for NAI’s 2011 annual report: Africa’s changing societies: Reform from below.

– It’s great helping the Nordic Africa Institute spread the information about their research among the wider audience, says Johan Resele, the graphic designer of the report.

Julia Björne was Global Reporting’s project leader and image editor.

The Nordic Africa Institute’s mission is to spread knowledge about Africa among the Nordic public, and this has been done for a number of years now, annual reports being one of the sources of information. Global Reporting redesigned the 2007 report into a magazine-like form making the content popularised.

Global Reporting has also got the assignment to design the 2012 report.
