Global Bar goes Sugar Hill!

Besides Stockholm, Global Bars have also taken place in Belgrade and Kiev and now – for the first time – in Harlem, New York. Together with the project Sugar Hill Sweden we will host a special Global Bar discussion and networking event.

What are the global trends in photography and reporting? What can we do to avoid prejudices and understand more? Join us for a drink and a discussion on journalism, communication and development from a global perspective.

Meet (among others):
David Isaksson, CEO and founder of Global Reporting, co-founder of Sugar Hill Sweden, writer with experience from 30 years of reporting, author of an upcoming issue of Development Dialogue, to be published by the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation.
Julia Björne, Photo Editor with a deep interest in African photography.
Lisa Jansson, Art director and Tibet activist, currently organizing a special tour to the Tibetan exile community in Dharamsala (India).

We hope to have Swedish and international friends, journalists, activists and writers joining us.

Hope you will too!

When: October 5th, 2 p.m.– 8 p.m.
Where:
523 W 147 St (btw Amsterdam and Broadway. Take the A or C express train to
